Ballina by Car Hire

Ballina is a beautiful little beach town about 20 kilometres south of the famous Byron Bay on the east coast of Australia in New South Wales.

As the town is built on a picturesque ocean inlet and river it has a beautiful outlook as well as a ton of things to do if you love the great outdoors. It is also big enough that there are a couple of car rental companies in town meaning you should be able to pick up a bargain if you compare their prices.

In Ballina, you can go surfing on the beautiful white sand beaches on the ocean side or go fishing on any of the points on the ocean or in the inlets. You can also hire a small boat for fishing if you enjoy that.

Byron Bar is only a half hour drive to the north and then you can even get to the Gold Coast in a couple of hours.

To the south you can get to Coffs Harbour and beyond using the Pacific Highway which can also take you all the way down the coast to Newcastle, Sydney and beyond.
