Bathurst Airport is a regional airport of New South Wales in Australia which serves the nearby regional centre town of Bathurst.

The Airport itself is located a couple of miles to the west of the town of Bathurst in the outlying suburb of Raglan. The only ways to get from the airport into the town of Bathurst are by taxi, shuttle bus or rental car. As Bathurst is a regional town and not well serviced by public transport, many visitors choose to get a rental car for the duration of their stay. This is usually a good idea as Bathurst is a geographically large town and it also allows them to explore the nearby areas.

Bathurst is also home to the most famous motor race track in Australia at Mount Panorama which is a major attraction and draws a lot of petrol heads from around the country. Bathirst Airport and the town of Bathurst get very busy during major race meets such as the James Hardie 1000 so be sure to book accommodation in advance.

The are also plenty of things to do around the area such as wine tasting. The town of Orange and its corresponding wineries are less than an hour to the west and you can get to the Blue Mountains in about an hour, driving east. Sydney, Newcastle and Wollongong are all about three hours away as is Canberra.
