Darwin Airport is the gateway to the beautiful capital city of the Northern Territory - Darwin. Most people come to Darwin via air due mainly to the isolation of the city from the rest of Australia including the commercial centers on the east coast of the country.

Luckily that means that, like a lot of airports, you will have a lot of choice when it comes time to get a car rental lined up.

Within Darwin, the airport is almost in the dead center meaning you can go west along the Stuart Highway towards the center or north to the suburbs.
