Blackwater Airport Car Hire

Believe it or not, the small town of Blackwater in Queensland even has its own airport served by QANTAS. The airport itself lies about 2 miles to the west of the small town. Both lie about 100 miles west of the coast centre of Rockhampton.
Blackwater Airport has flights to Biloela and the central Queensland mining area of Emerald. You can also hire a car at the airport which is probably a good idea as public transport in this area of the world is extremely limited due to the very small population.
From Blackwater Airport you can reach the coast and Rockhampton in a couple of hours. Gladstone is a solid drive to the south east and Brisbane is at least 10 hours drive down the coast.
