Adelaide Airport lies relatively close to the heart of Adelaide in the west of the city and offers easy access to the city and its surrounds.

By getting a rental car from Adelaide Airport you bypass the headaches of public transport and taxis. One great thing is that while Adelaide is a large and modern city, it doesn’t suffer to the same extent as its larger cousins - Melbourne and Sydney, from horrible traffic congestion and conditions.

From the airport, the city is less than a 20 minute drive by hire car, but having a car also lets you go further afield much more quickly if you want to escape the city immediately.

To the north west, you can get to Whyalla in a matter of a few hours along the A1 and if you want to go east, then you can make it to Murray’s Bridge in about the same time. If you want to, you can also take advantage of the close proximity of many of South Australia’s famous wineries to the north which can be reached in a few hours too.

The added convenience of getting a hire car directly from the airport at Adelaide makes it well worth considering.
