Balwyn by Hire Car

Balwyn is a small suburb of Melbourne located to the east of the CBD just before Box Hill.

Several car rental companies are located on Cotham Road and nearby and as it is close enough to the CBD and the car hire companies in Camberwell, the prices are kept down by the competition.

As Balwyn is very close to the heart of Melbourne there are heaps of things to do as well as hundreds of places to stay to suit almost any budget.  Within Melbourne itself, there are the entertainment and restaurant districts such as famous Lygon St which are a lot of fun. There are also a lot of great museums and galleries towards South Bank.

If you want to explore regional Victoria then you are a few hours’ drive away from regional centres such as Bendigo and Ballarat which are well worth a look. If you head north to New South Wales, you are about 6 hours from Canberra (the ACT lies within NSW) and then another 3 hours on to Sydney. To the west, you can drive to Adelaide in about 9 hours.
