Blackburn by Hire Car

Location: Blackburn > Perth > Western Australia

Blackburn is a suburb of Perth in Western Australia about five miles to the east of the central business area of the city, just beyond Box Hill.

Being so close to the city, Blackburn also has quite a few car hire options in the suburb itself as well as the surrounding areas.

Being a little out of the city, Blackburn is a little cheaper for accommodation options but close enough that it is easy to explore Perth and the surrounding areas including the beautiful Swan River or even the western beaches that draw so many visitors to this great city.

If you want to head further away from Blackburn than just the surrounding city areas, then you can drive a couple of hours south to Fremantle which is famous for football and sailing and was the location of the last America’s Yacht Race challenge in Australia. A little beyond that is the famous surf spot of Margaret River with its abundant wineries and vineyards which prove to be popular with tourists and locals alike!

Going further south you can get to Albury on the south coast of Western Australia but most major towns to the east are a very long way and most people choose to fly.
